She take the time to understand the project's tone, story, and intention, in order to curate an aesthetically pleasing and easy to follow document that allows the writer to showcase their creative vision.

The entire process is entirely collaborative. Writers have the power of approving, changing, leaving comments, etc. every step of the way.
